AI-Native Operations: beyond the copilot

Why assistive AI stalls at the demo, and what changes when the system owns the workflow instead of suggesting the next step.

Most enterprise AI stops at suggestion. A copilot drafts, a human decides, and the operating cost of the function stays exactly where it was.

AI-native operations invert that. The workflow is modelled as a machine-operable domain: structured inputs, explicit policy, deterministic side effects, and a supervisor who handles exceptions rather than executions.

The engineering work is less about the model and more about the domain. Once the domain is legible, the same AI core ports across functions and industries.
